Glencliff parking lot was plowed. 1-2" of fresh powder on a hard packed trail made for an easy ascent and fast descent. No trail issues. A bit of ice in a few spots hidden by the snow. We all snowshoed up though you could have bare booted or used microspikes. Once we broke out of the trees the winds were strong. Could still see some ski tracks but that was about all to mark the trail. Lots of drifting from the trail junction up until the summit cone. The cone was all hardpacked snow and ice (MSR's were fine on it). NO VFTT today as the clouds were still in and the wind lowered visibility even more with the blowing snow. Once we started descending the clouds started to lift and the day turned sunny. Still a great day out with the Damselfly's, Cymbidium and Karen B and Skipper the dog.
