Since we have hike Cannon Mountain many times and the Kinsmans, we thought a hike from the northern end NH112 to Mount Wolf along Kinsman Ridge would be a bit of a change.
The trail begins steeply for the first six tenths mile

Even after the leaves are off the trees the forest is beautiful.
An excellent view of Franconia Ridge from Mount Wolf.
Michael on the summit of Mount Wolf.
We found this burl quite interesting.
Heading back to NH112.
A fine hike, over 9 miles, with over a 3000 foot elevation gain. And lots of PUD's (pointless up and downs). Our first experience with them.

Thanks for taking a look.
