Trail Conditions: Hard packed, easy hiking, bare boot-able, although I wore microspikes the whole way and Blythe wore her MSRs near the top and all the way down for traction. Warm sun in the afternoon made snow a more slippery and soft than when we set out. No blow downs, well marked, trailhead plowed and room for 4-5 cars with overflow parking less than a tenth of a mile before trailhead proper.
Comments: Bluebird day. Nice to linger on the summit instead of rushing back down due to frigid temps. Gorgeous day playing outside.
