Did the hike from the York Pond Trailhead. 2-3 inches of powder on top of hard pack down low. Maybe 4 inches on the ridge. Saw about 20 hikers today. Most seemed to come up the officially closed Mt Cabot Trailhead. All were in shoes. One very confused hiker even had a Giants hat on. We started in spikes and quickly changed to shoes. Great snowshoes conditions.
