Trail Conditions: Wet, but mostly just standing or running water over gravel. Not too much mud, especially after we got a bit higher. No boot-sucking mud.

No special equipment required. No bugs to speak of. We didn't need sunscreen on Saturday.

Comments: It was a day of mixed weather. As we arrived at Mt Pierce, it cleared a bit, but Eisenhower was still in the clouds. As we arrived at Mt Eisenhower, and sat on the summit, then it began to clear too. By the time we returned to Pierce, we could see all the way to Mt Washington, but there was a price to be paid. A thunderstorm came through from the west with not much rain but a couple minutes of heavy hail! We were glad to make it below treeline before the storm came through.
