Date of Hike: 4/5/09
Special Equipment: Bare Bootable but slippery on top.
Took the Cheshire Harbor Trail from parking lot at end of West Mountain Rd,
A couple switch backs at the beginning in mud but no snow. At about 2200 feet we encountered our first signs of snow. Past the small bridge 3 inches of new snow. When we got to the A.T. some spots had up to 6-8 inches of fresh powder. At summit very windy, cold and overcast. No views today but it was still nice to get out there and hike.
