Trail conditions: Hale Brook Trail dry below about 3,300' elevation (upper switchbacks), then some small patches of snow and some wet trail. Brook crossing easy.
There were 5-6 blowdowns (all easily navigated around) ranging from about 8 -12 inches in diameter, and found from about three-quarters of a mile in to near the summit. Trail bed is mostly in good condition, with some erosion on the lower part of the trail.
Equipment: Bug repellent. The black flies are nasty.
Comment: The views from the summit rock pile are pretty limited if you are a short person, like me. Even so, a nice hike
