Went up from Tripoli Road over Main Peak, over to East Peak and Back , and down to Tripoli Road.
Up to Main Peak, enough water in the trail to allow plenty of drinks for the "pup", but footing was fine and snow almost completely gone. Enough snow left in the 1 mile stretch between Main & East Peak to inspire enough giddiness in the "pup" for 2 Lunatic Runs, but again footing was fine and the snow was sparodic and almost all avoidable.
The "chimney" was completely dry. The "pup" looked at both options down and chose neither, so she required a "butt slide carry" down the chimney, but just one big boost on the return trip to get back up it without any problems.
Enough of a breeze, so not a single bug! And crystal clear bright blue skys... beautiful day to be out!
