Trail Conditions: snow over ice on Wilderness and Black Pond Trail. Great Black Pond Bushwhack conditions, with Dave leading the navigation (great route). Lincoln Brook Trail in good shape and stream crossings easy and mostly bridged. Slide ascent was wet snow over ice and very slippery. Brutus bushwhack was sweet and we got to follow Tim C's and LRiz's footsteps. Warm temps.

Special Equipment Required: Microspikes worked great, except on slide, as they balled up with the wet snow. Crampons might have worked better. No need for snowshoes today.

Comments: Great running into LRiz, Tim C, Toby the wonder dog, Pucknuts, Jeff and Chris! Also great to run into the Bonds/Zealand traverse team in Lincoln Woods parking lot (see Sabrina's TC post). Nice day to do Owl's Head.

Marty, Dave, Nick the other wonder dog and Clarke (Ridgewalker)
