Crawford Path is well established and easy walk to Pierce. 3' + of base under trail.
Traverse to Jackson via Mizpah Hut/ridge trial also has established trail with lesser, but considerable traffic.
Ditto for Jackson Brook cutoff and Webster Jackson Trail.
All in all, snowshoes advisable and will become a necessity especially if and when temperatures climb up to melting conditions and above... We saw some posthole holes which went down far far...4'/+!!!
Wind protection/face masks also advisable at higher elevations/along ridge.
Addtl notes;
This was a great day after yesterday's steeper hike up Mt. Field.... Beautiful trails!!!
