Heres a little heads up about a great company. I have the scout model for a backup lamp that I keep in my coat for emergencies. The headband is held on with four clip edges. One broke somehow this winter(probably during one of my falls while skiing)--totally my fault. I emailed the company to order a new part, they are sending me the part free of charge. Class act.

You know, I've been nothing but impressed with their little Aurora headlamp for a year now. I used to carry a Petzl Tikka, but the P-T is MUCH brighter (shhh, don't tell my dog, Tikka).

It's always nice to hear that a company who puts out a decent product is also cool to deal with when problems arise.

Similar positive experience with Princeton Tec -- had a flashlight that stopped working. I called the Princeton Tec support line, they shipped out a replacement flashlight the next day.

Ditto for me. Had the cover clip on my Matrix break. They replaced it free with not one, but 2 and also included the small peg that keeps the top from falling off. No questions asked.
