I guess that might be a Windows Media File. I can never view those files in-line with Firefox (v2.0) but I saw that posted I think on p.net.

I know the first thing I learned when running rivers in my Mystic (flatwater mostly, up to possibly Class 1-2) is too lean into strainers if you get pinned on it. Fortunately, haven't had that problem yet on anything with as strong a current as you'd find in whitewater rivers... but it's a good thing to know in any case.

A Mac running Safari picks it up as a QuickTime video file. From there (if you have QT pro) you can easily edit out the commercial up front and save it as a rescue video in the format of choice.
