Skiing Middle Saranac Lake Feb 5

Chili Willie and I were thinking of skiing on Middle Saranac Lake and possibly through to Upper Saranac Lake next weekend (2/5/05). Other than inlets and outlets, does anyone know of possible weak ice areas on these two lakes? Anything else of interest?

PS - Since I went thru the ice last weekend during a fishing tournament on Lake Pleasant outside of Speculator, this question is of particular interest to me. Thanks. Ron
