The road to Dacy Clearing is closed to vehicles so you have to park at the Hogtown parking area and walk the 1.6 miles to Dacy Clearing. Once at Dacy Clearing the trail to Sleeping Beauty is free and clear of any Hurricane Irene debris but is wet and muddy in spots.
Minimal bugs early in the morning when the temperatures were cool. The leaves are just starting to turn.
