Went up Stratton yesterday trail it was relatively dry,a little muddy in some spots. We saw a black bear not too long after we crossed the old ip road. There was some patchy deep snow near the top gaitors were certainly helpful. If your going past the firetower to the ski area snowshoes are a good idea. We turned around because we were post holing up to our knees.
