I started PT for my hp problem (thanks for all your comments on that). The orthopod thought that PT wouldn't help arthritis, but a track coach / trainer indicated that I may also have a pulled tendon (adductor). The PT has focued on the hip flexors. It helped a lot. Do them every day now.

I usually cramp up in the calf and hobble around for a couple if days post-hike.
