Sugarloaf (Nash Stream) 8/31/13

This trailhead is hard to locate as it is not marked. And since I lost all the gauges in my truck on the way, I couldn’t measure the 8.4 miles from the Emerson Rd. intersection. It is on the left just after a small bridge. It looks like a driveway for a camp, but it is actually a snowmobile trail and the Sugarloaf trail splits from the Cohos trail to the right a short ways in.
The trail is not blazed but is easy to follow. It is in great shape the entire way. No blowdowns or anything else worth mentioning.
Amazing views. Highly recommended. And we only saw one other person on a holiday weekend.
