Date of Hike: Sunday 2nd December 2007
Trail Conditions: Hard-packed snow gave way to looser stuff over ice on the steeps. No blow-downs but water crossings, esp Cedar Brook, were tricky and icy.
Special Equipment Required: As of now barebootable going up but Stabilicers were very useful coming down. I imagine snowshoes will be req'd after tomorrow's storm.
Comments: Nice, albeit crisp, day with even a bit of mid-morning sun. Water crossings proved my undoing either because of multiple herd trails and bushwhacks or because the ice was not as firm as it looked. Went through three times! Time for the diet....
