Started at Tully Lake boat ramp, went clockwise. Vegematic's gps confirms this route is closer to the new (2011) published length of 22 miles, rather than the 18 shown on my older (2002) map. Easy to follow throughout. There are some new signs posted at some of the junctions. Mostly dry despite the rainy week. The shelter is in decent shape despite sporting some new rather unsavory graffiti. Royalston and Spirit Falls were running nicely.

The route from the Tully Lake boat ramp to Tully Mountain is partially incorrect on the 2011 map. The 2011 map shows the trail following Royalston road to Mountain road (thus crossing the Tully Pond causeway), and then begins the ascent from the south via Mountain road. The 2002 map shows the trail diving northwest into the woods not far down Royalston Road. It then ascends the east side of Tully Mountain. The 2002 route was blazed and easy to follow despite some new logging. I don't know if Royalston Road is blazed beyond this point and will check at some point.
