Sat 1-19-13 Vose Spur; Sun 1-20-13 Scar Ridge (we should finish well before the pats game. Go PATS!)
It seems like a good time to get after some bushwhacks given the recent weather events. Planning on the usual approach for Vose Spur. Possibly camp out at hancock campground on the kanc Sat night and go for Scar Ridge via Big Rock. I struck out a couple of times from Loon including a previous winter attempt but I had very good luck with the Big Rock approach through mostly open woods a couple years ago.
