Where was this picture taken?

Almost exactly two years ago I hiked the Crawford Trail from Crawford Notch to Mount Monroe and back. I though I took this picture on the summit of Monroe. However, I climbed Monroe by way of Ammo last week and was surprised when there was no cairn on the summit. I thought maybe the cairn got knocked over but several experienced hikers who summitted at about the same time as me insisted that there had never been a cairn on Monroe. So where is this? I know it's somewhere on the Crawford Path. Is it on Franklin?

That's my favorite cairn! Just below the summit of Monroe on the Monroe Loop Trail, I call it the cross cairn!

No, it's close though. It's about a hundred feet or so below the summit heading south.

Minor correction, Crawford Path not Crawford Trail, Considering its the oldest continously used route in the US (at least the plaque at the bottom claims it), it deserves to keep its correct name
