Wow, makes me all the more prouder of what we achieved, even though we had to come back through Gosford to get the peak in the end. :)
 
It's not going over to the boundary, but coming back the same way that seems strange

Roy - you don't return the same way. Using the 'traditional' route, on the return you'd re-climb Monument, then take a bearing to intersect the route you'd taken on the way to Whitecap, but you wouldn't re-climb Whitecap also.

I read Marc Howes' posting on ROT. The 'traditional' route avoided Dennison Bog entirely entirely unless you got off course.

Well, it doesn't matter, we got 'em all legitimately anyway. :)
