Date of Hike: May 14, 2014
Trail Conditions: Blueberry Ledge Trail was bare. At about 3700' the monorail started but spikes weren't needed. The first half of the Rollins Trail coming from Whiteface had a lot of snow and ice. You don't need snow shoes, spikes would help but if you don't own them you could still bare boot this. Dicey Mill had one section that looked like a glacier, spikes were very helpful here, but other than this one small section the rest of the trail was fine.
Special Equipment Required: Microspikes. But even if you don't own them you could bare boot this hike.
Comments: Very nice day, the sky was overcast until we hit the summit of Whiteface and then it was clear the reast of the day. Temps were 56 degrees at the summit and a very light breeze. The bugs were non existant all day but then decided to come out of hiding towards the end of the hike, this was about 6pm
