Trail Conditions: Water levels were not too high making river crossings easy but this weeks precipitation caused some slippery and muddy conditions. The soft mud of the saturated ground came loose frequently on the Pole Cat and caused a wipeout for one of us.
Special Equipment Required: None. Poles made balancing easier as some of the footing was slippery.
Comments: We met some nice folks in the Wildcat lot including Jeb Bradley and Rocket21 of NETC.com. The weather held out and despite the gloomy forecast we were awarded with some beautiful views. Washington appeared to be in the clouds all day. It was a great day to be out with SteveR, Pacesetter, and Kibo (the wonder dog).
