Me and a friend did Wildcats and Carters today. We went up the Wildcat Ridge Trail to E-A, down into the Notch, up Carter Dome Trail, to Carter-Moriah Trail, to north Carter, to South Imp Trail and across the Dodge Cut-off.
Going up WRT we used microspikes the whole way. Heading up to the Dome required crampons. Switched to snowshoes for Carter-Moriah Trail and then back to microspikes for the rest of the hike. Snowed flurries the entire time. No views but the sun tried really hard going up the Dome. 10 hours of Winter bliss.
