Hazy, Hot, Humid, Hancocks

I took my niece for her 2nd and 3rd 4Ks, my husband for his 14th and 15th 4Ks, and myself for #43 & #44 to the Hancocks. This seems to be a highly under rated hike; I had a blast. The steeps were sweet! TR & pictures are here .

It looks like a great day. Nice report, and your're right, the Hancocks are highly under-rated. The steep sections aren't too bad, and the views are great.

Nice Hike. I always like the Hancocks -- probably my most visited area both on and off trail. Nice pictures too, I especially like this one although I believe that what you're looking at here is in fact Carrigain.

I think you're right. I just double checked the time of the picture and it was at a northerly view just before the south summit. Thanks for catching that!

Another mid-week hike! They're usually a little more peaceful than the weekend variety. Nice report and pictures.

You really don't have far to go.
