John, Miles and I parked at the very nice lot on Rt.113 and were on the trail around 8:30. We went up the south trail and down by Bicknell Ridge. Got back to the car at 4:10. All trails were in very good shape with only a few minor recent blowdowns and a little mud. The ledges on the climb to S. Baldface were impressive, but not terrifying. A good scramble, although we agreed that we would not want to do them wet, or on the descent. From the time we hit the ledges the views were spectacular. The weather was excellent, except for occasional high winds. We estimated gusts up to 40 mph. Fortunately they moderated as the day progressed.
Special equipment needed: None.
Comments: Great blueberries! A wonderful hike.
