Trail Conditions: Dry. Temps in the teens with wind.
Special Equipment Required: A warm coat and gloves.
Comments: Located in Wilbraham, I remember as a kid wandering around up there before there were designated marked trails. Back then I didn't mind bushwacking and coming home covered in mud and briars.
The highlights are good views to the west in the old orchards and a nice view SW from Sunrise Peak. Never took the proper trail to Rattlesnake Peak, too bad. This was a short hike, couple hours, but for a cool day it was fine. Can't wait to take the snowshoes up there. Trailhead on Highmore Rd. approx. 380 ft, Sunrise Peak 910ft.
