Trail in great shape. One large blow down between Starr King and Waumbek. Long legs can go over but herd path to left is becoming prominent.
No special equipment. Black flies were nuisance at the old cabin site and Waumbek lookout, but not overwhelming. Surprise, no mosquitoes despite early overcast, muggy, dank conditions.
#48 for Jeff (Dauby) and Brad (HardyB), finally. Thanks to all who accompanied them, Darcy, Venise, Lorraine, Deb, Bill, Pete, and Mike.
