I generally assume that any moose I may encounter during the year to be pretty laid back creatures with the exception of rutting season. Unfortunately there are exceptions

Brainworm will really make a moose act pyschotic and winter ticks will weaken them in such a way they will stagger everywhere and rip down fencelines, garden fences etc....I would not have been boxing that guy, but again, getting kind of close, like the bison in yellowstone??
