Great hike with Marty as usual.
Conditions were remarkably uniform from top to bottom with anywhere between 3-6 inches of snow. There was a bit of ice under the snow higher up, but we never needed anything more than microspikes. The trail is in great shape, with only one blowdown, a yellow birch about a 1/3 of the way from the trailhead to the shelter. Maybe 18-20" diameter. A duck under.
