I am thinking of checking out the Alpine Garden on the weekend of June 16.
I am also curious about Huntington Ravine, so I am thinking I might go up Huntington and come down Boot Spur.
Is Huntington safe by June 16? I read in the book that it is pretty steep. That does not worry me too much but are there any additional problems this time of year? I'm wondering about falling ice, bad footing, etc.
I would appreciate advice from someone with knowledge of this particular ravine, in the late spring.
