[I didn't see this posted yet, so...]
If you're interested in hearing more about the new AMC WM guidebook, you can grab NHPR's Exchange NHPR's Exchange for 10-May-07. Most of the podcast won't be news for regular VTFT readers, but I found the following interesting:
- maps in this issue are bigger, more detailed
- an electronic version of the guidebook service is due this summer
- trails were added since the last guidebook (hmmm? I wonder where?)
I laughed out loud at the imagery of having a strong wind blow pages of a loose-leaf guidebook into a stream.
Anyway, it's worth a listen if you're not up with all the latest details, or just if you want to hear what Gene Daniell and Larry Garland sound like.
