I hiked up to Mt. Pierce and halfway to Ike before turning back due to the wind. It was brutally windy Saturday. The Crawford path is packed out solid. Some traction would be helpful, especially above treeline. Stabilicers would probably do fine. I used crampons above treeline and barebooted below.

I camped out Sat night at the Naumen tentsite. The first few platforms were cleared off and cold to sleep on. I punched a hole in the ice at the stream and had no problems getting water from it. Other than not being able to light my stove, it was a great trip!
