Discounted Denali Ascents

Hey my fellow Crazies, (Thats what they call us winter mountaineers behind our backs)

I am looking to buy my second pair of these weight saving, stability giving marvels.

Has anyone found a supplier who discpounts them? I cant even find one who has them in stock..... which is probably why they are not discounted

I purchased the first issue from MSR which had the 2 spikes to the right and left of the binding crampon.

Loved the bite they gave, but some plodders were apparently tripping over them so a good thing went the way of the Delorean.

Keep an eye out for EMS's presidents day sales. I bought mine from them on sale for around 75 bucks.

I would search for them on Google, then hit the "shopping" link to get a list sorted by price. The google search will also contain ebay results.

BTW: that's a real site, wilderness exchange, not a link to some backwoods pre-op support group.
