Equipment required: Snowshoes after the first 0.5 to 0.75 mile from the trailhead.
the trail had been 4 wheeled out to quite a mess to below the cabin, and after that a few hikers had post-holed their way to the col. Beyond that it was snowmobiled out with a good crust, all the way to the canister on Dorset.
The bushwhack to West Dorset was straightforward through mostly open woods.
