I have hiked in the Mount Sunapee are a few times in the past couple of weeks. I have been noticing gypsy moths laying egg mass on trees and als0 a number of new egg masses. These are nasty bugs and can do major harm to the forest. If you see their egg masses on tree trunks, destroy them. It might help.
