Dave, Where were you in NZ?

I trekked by some of the volcanos on the North Island, then on the South Island did multi-day hikes in Nelson Lakes, Arthur's Pass, Mt Aspiring, Milford Track, Mt Cook, and I'm sure I'm missing a few. Only on the Milford Track did the huts have any real convienences, but nothing like the THC huts (linens, 4 course meals, fresh scones for breakfast).
