Date of Hike: 4/16/16

Trail Conditions: Went up from Webster-Jackson Trail, intermittent ice until just about all ice. Rivers of it. Spikes were fine, but crampons, especially early in the morning, would not have been overkill. Trail to Pierce was intermittent ice, slush and brief periods of snow that became particularly slushy as the day progressed. After Pierce, trail was wet and often snow free on the open rocks. Varying degrees of slush otherwise. We bare-booted to Eisenhower and spent about an hour on the summit taking it in. Returned via Crawford Path, spikes were fine in soft ice/snow conditions. Lots of ice.

First trip to White Mountains. Your trails are beautiful, to say the least. You guys are spoiled (in comparison to the Adk HP). :)
