Parked on 113A with room for a half dozen at least; Cabin Trail in good shape, good footing, few step over go under blowdowns, one gigantic one to go under;
Lawrence Trail: no blowdowns and a nice wide trail, up higher gravel footbed and nice viewpoints, lunch at Old Paugus jct. viewpoint..pileated woodpecker show on way up;
Old Paugus Trail: some slippery slabs on way down and a good amount of hurtle blowdowns until the area of the large rock face, great to Whitin Brook jct..
Whitin Brook: nice wide trail with some mud patches, 3 crossings done easily; up near Cabin jct., quite a few blowdowns and steeper than one would think!! out via Cabin Trail...we beat haze and rain and had nice views from Paugus area...Lefty E and Priscilla
