Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that I've created a new blog to keep track of all the different ice axes out there (general mountaineering style). No reviews/ratings/etc. It's more of a quick starting point if you're thinking about picking up a new one to see what's on the market. At the moment I have around 55 axes listed, across 15 or so manufacturers.

Just a quick update -- I've done a little more hunting and have added about a dozen more axes. So, now there are almost 70 listed. I didn't realize how many there were! I also added links to various sites that carry the axes, such as Moosejaw.com. They have a little more info about them such as weight, available lengths, etc.

Thanks to everyone who has told me about a missing axe/manufacturer!
