Parking in Concord NH

A friend and I are doing an overnight this Friday. I'm coming from Boston and he is in Portsmouth. Does anyone know of a secure place in the Concord area that I can park my car for the night?

Exit 17 has a Park and Ride. It's a bit north of Concord, but it seems secure.

We've left cars in the free Park & Ride in Concord many times and never had problems. It's well-lit, has plenty of room, right off the highway, and it's free. Live free or die hard!

I've parked at the bus terminal in Concord, which is at Exit 14 IIRC.

Edited to add: I guess that's the Park and Ride mentioned by SLB.

For leaving a car overnight, I would trust the bus terminal park and ride off exit 14 much more than that one off exit 17. Just more activity there so seems safer.

Yes, the exit 14 park n' ride is very secure, I've left my car there for a few weeks and it was fine, lots of activity there (buses coming and going) well lit parking lot, wouldn't worry one bit about it being there.

For a little extra distance, you can park at Exit 2 (Rte.13) on I-89. The building at the far end of the lot is a state police substation.
