Looking for suggestions - what works the best for Back Country Skiing in the Adirondacks. I have basic In-Track equipment but I do a bit of snowshoeing and backpacking and I'm looking to add BC Ski Equipment to my list of options. Also has anyone tried Sweepers (Short Fat skis with skins attached) and if so will they work with large plastic mountaineering boots?

Thanks

Thanks for the Info

Thanks Dave

Those Links were helpful - also found the infor about Vapor Barriers interesting - I've been testing one from Western Mountaineering for my down bag - It worked great but what do you do with your wet long johns when you get out of the bag in the morning at -10? I haven't sorted that one out yet.
