Trail: Cross Rivendell Trail from the west (parking on Norris Road, off of Archertown Road) Orford, NH
Condition: Trail was free of snow and nearly completely dry. Spring wildflowers up included round-lobed hepatica, spring beauty, round-leaved yellow violet, and trailing arbutus. Nice views from northerly vista point at about 1,400 feet. Summit (1,823') is wooded; but with views through the trees for now. This is a nice little hike to do when the leaves are not on the trees. (3.6 miles round trip; ~1,100' of elevation gain)
Equipment: Nothing special. Could easily do this one in sneakers or Crocs.
