If we want to ski up (and back down, duh) the Livermore road to the Scaur Ridge trail for a hike of the Tripyramids, do we need a Waterville Valley nordic day pass? And, what's the parking situation at the Livermore TH?

Thanks for any help --

Matt

No, you do not. I was at the trailhead last Saturday and there was not many parking spaces, but then again, I arrived at 1pm which is probably their peak. Livermore road will have grooved tracks for a good distance that you can use.

You can ski the Livermore Road up to the turn off to the Tri's without a pass. You can also ski the Tripoli Road without a pass as well. You cannot ski the turn off to Osceola Vista without a pass.

Also - no dogs are allowed on the Livermore Road or Tripoli Road (or any of the XC network except the Village Trail).
