Waumbek by the Starr King Trail, 1-4-12

Like most other Whites trails right now, trail has a consistent 3"-5" of snow with some icy places beneath. It is clear of blowdowns and in great shape (Thanks, Sarah and Michael!).

Microspikes were the ideal footwear throughout.

Nice, cold day on this lovely peak with good friends. Nice to run into the Wednesday Group after all these years.
