I just got a pair of snowshoes for xmas but I was wondering, am I supposed to get a specific or special pair of boots or can I just wear my winter boots with them? I have never had a pair before or even tried a pair on so I have no idea. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Guys I will have to give it a try. It is funny because I have been going up since I was a kid and because that was always the way my mom went, I just followed suit now that I drive myself. It usually takes me about 3 hours to get up there. So I will let you know what I think! Thanks,

Stinks! Yeah But Off Stinks So Bad It Gags Me.

I heard that Vicks vapor rub wards off bugs like misquitos. Just putting a little bit on your kneck or wrists is supposed to be better than bug spray and less hazardous. Has anyone heard this or tried it?
