Mount Willard via Mount Willard Trail. Date of hike Saturday April 25th, 2009.
Special Equipment: Microspikes were helpful but not essential.
Trail Conditions: First stream crossing was a little tricky on wet skinny fallen timbers. Trail was a mixed bag of mud, streamlets, soft snow and firm monorail.
Comments: This trail is well traveled by many folks and families who stay at The Highland Center. You get a nice reward for a little effort. Lovely falls at the start of the hike and beautiful open ledges with views of Mt. Washington and surrounding peaks. A good quick workout.
