Trail Conditions: Wet. Bog boards very slippery. Easy grades. Some poison ivy on and next to trail in lower sections..
Special Equipment Required: knee brace
Comments: First trail hike since tearing my MCL. Decided to do something easy, just to play it safe. Wouldn't you know it, but I slipped on a wet root and fell right on my bad knee. No problem whatsoever. Am hoping to do something much more substantial soon.
This is my first time on this stretch of the trail in about 10 years. Easy hike in nice forest, but minimal views. Lots of moose tracks.
