?driving partner to Baxter Fri/sun?

Just putting out feelers here. I am leaving No Central CT friday 9/23 am, no later than 10am for the loooooong drive to Millinocket. (approx 6 hrs) My hiking partner is flying into Bangor and car renting so we can't meet up until Millinocket. If someone is looking to head to that area to meet up with their own hiking party, I am willling to share the ride if you share gas. My departure time from Millinocket Sunday am is flexible. I may do another hike if Katahdin doesn't kill me, either in Baxter or on the way home..Rt 2 Maine region etc. My route is 91N to Mass Pike, 290 though Worcester to 495 to 95 to Millinocket. PM me with ideas/phone etc. PS no burping/farting allowed in car !!! ctsparrow

Don't need a ride but Dave & I will be heading up to Baxter the same weekend. So if you see a black Civic with a VFTT sticker tooling around the perimeter road, it's us.
